The CQC has recently published its final guidance for care homes, hospitals and hospices on the right to have visitors. A new law has been been passed by the Government that gives the CQC a specific duty and powers to look at the right to visit. CQC inspections and ratings of care homes, hospitals and hospices will now include this specific issue. The guidance can be downloaded from HERE.
