The Health and Care Bill is nearly at the end of its Parliamentary journey and only a few minor changes would be expected at this stage. When the Act comes into force (probably in a few months as it will allow for the creation of NHS ICS bodies to replace CCGs) the Care Quality Commission (CQC) will be given powers to ‘review’ local authorities (adult social services).
