During BIA training courses, we sometimes refer to CQC ratings and suggest that BIAs should identify and record this rating in their Form 3 as it may influence many elements of their assessment and conclusions. It is noteworthy that Court of Protection judges have referenced CQC ratings in judgments as part of the best interests 'analysis'.
