Karen Dempsey

Karen is a UKCP-registered psychotherapist and clinical supervisor specialising in stress, anxiety, and burnout. She is an academic lecturer for psychotherapy training institutes in London – where she has created and delivered clinical training programmes and experiential workshops. She has just completed a professional doctorate,

with her narrative research exploring transformative learning experiences in psychotherapy education and how trainees overcome their struggles. She is also the lead counsellor for an adult education college in London, overseeing the work of placement therapists and a supervisor, as well as carrying out initial client assessments.
