Predatory relationships and marriage in older people with dementia

An informative (and concerning) radio programme on predatory relationships involving older people with dementia is available on Radio 4. A recent case in the Court of Protection (Re: BU [2021] EWCOP 54 dealt with a similar situation of an older woman with dementia who was ‘befriended’ by a man with an extensive history of convictions for fraud and blackmail.
