Celebrating Social Workers - a judge in the Court of Protection

In a recent ruling from the Court of Protection the judge praised the work of the social worker in what was a very difficult situation. District Judge Simpson wrote: 'My impression of the social worker was that she was professional, honest and straightforward in giving her evidence. It was clear she had worked hard for the benefit of the parties to ensure all available options had been considered.’ To read the full judgment click here: MA & AA, Re (Re Section 21A of the Mental Capacity Act 2005) [2023] EWCOP 65
