Designed for mental health staff of all disciplines, this course examines the complex relationship between these two Acts. 

 

Mental Health Tribunal (MHT) – Court Skills and Report Writing Skills

A course open to any staff who will have to write reports for the Tribunal (First Tier – Mental Health) and attend hearings to give evidence. There is no requirement to have previous experience in this area. The course will enhance participants’ knowledge of MHTs, their skills for giving evidence at MHTs and their effectiveness in a MHT setting. It is taught by an AMHP and lawyer both with experience of working for the First Tier Tribunal (Mental Health).
