A large survey of 657 people has found:‘Care homes are still implementing blanket visiting restrictions outside of outbreak situations, contrary to current guidance. All government restrictions on general visiting (outside of outbreaks) were lifted at the end of March. Despite this, for responses about care homes where there had not been a known Covid outbreak, 45% said there were visiting restrictions in place at some point since 1st Apr 2022.’
