Alex Greenchester

Alex has over fifteen years’ experience in the field of Social Work and is a Social Worker, Approved Mental Health Professional, Best Interest Assessor, Trainer and Supervisor.

Currently working in an out of hours Emergency Duty Team, the role includes child protection, adult safeguarding and Mental Health Act assessments.  Alex has previous experience of working with women offenders in a residential setting; as a Care Coordinator in an Early Intervention Service; as an in-patient Social Worker in a mental health hospital; in drug and alcohol services in a community setting; and in a busy referral and assessment team in Children’s Social Care.

Alex provides supervision to Social Workers and she is experienced at facilitating group supervision using the ‘Intervision’ model for social work or multi-disciplinary groups.

Providing teaching and training across Health, Social Services and Academic settings, Alex is committed to delivering engaging, creative, bespoke content that enables participants to explore a topic in depth, in a supportive environment.
